Key Responsibilities:

Peak Nano has an immediate contractor opening for a Clean Room Technician. Peak Nano is focused on developing and delivering innovative, disruptive solutions to the optical lens market.

  • Safely and efficiently operate automated equipment and complete manual production operations as needed in an ISO class 7 clean room

  • Report safety problems or concerns immediately
  • Continuously monitor all aspect of equipment operation and production to ensure quality is maintained and production goals are met
  • Troubleshoot issues impacting quality and production goals to ensure defects are detected, not passed on, and that resolution steps are taken
  • Escalate issues and share recommendations and solutions
  • Write and revise standard operating procedures and work instructions as needed.
  • Perform necessary housekeeping to support clean room operations

Required Qualifications:

  • High School/GED – Technical Certificate or higher preferred

  • 5+ years in manufacturing or 3+ years of military service

  • Ability to handle up to 50 pounds with physical dexterity to operate the equipment

  • Demonstrates an eagerness to learn new tasks, skills, concepts and applications

  • Attention to detail and strong visual inspection skills

  • Ability to work independently or in a team atmosphere

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills

  • Flexible and capable of adapting to change

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to maintain charts, graphs and production reports in Microsoft Word, and Excel

  • Ability to perform basic math
