Description

Successful candidates will have some basic knowledge of CNC machine operation and capability. Previous use of measurement tools like calipers, height gauges, and micrometers to do some minor adjustments is required. The position’s focus will be operating a 2-axis CNC lathe to finish polymer optics. Supporting equipment includes contact and non-contact inspection equipment for inspection of finished parts. G&M code experience is preferred but not required.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing

• 1+ years’ experience in using measuring tools and equipment

• Previous machine operations experience

• High School Diploma

• US Citizenship

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a Machining Certification

• Optics manufacturing experience
