Description

Peak Nano is seeking a Principal NPI TPM (New Product Introduction Technical Program Manager) to play a pivotal role in managing numerous system-level programs for Optics. Reporting to the SVP of Operations, you will be a crucial operations interface for the design and development of our hardware products. You will work with our Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to plan and drive new product development builds and support ongoing changes to sustaining products. You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary activities – working with stakeholders to scope projects, plan requirements, develop KPIs, create and manage project schedules, identify and mitigate risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive detailed project schedules to achieve key milestones and deadlines

  • Organize and lead cross-functional NPRs (New Product Reviews)

  • Be responsible for project costs, product costs, and CAPEX budgets

  • Plan and execute development builds and ensure products transition to production according to specific cost, quality, and capacity goals

  • Lead cross-functional teams and external partners to prepare for production ramp and product transitions (i.e. factory readiness, material availability, capacity readiness, transition plans, etc

Required Qualifications

  • BS degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field

  • 10+ years of Hardware Technical Program Management and New Product Introduction (NPI)

  • Experience working with offshore manufacturers and traveling to manufacturing sites

  • OEM/CM management experience

  • Proven experience in manufacturing and product development

  • US Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field

  • Experience with designing and/or building Optics systems

  • Experience with compliance labs and other regulatory requirements such as ITAR

  • Experience building and certifying devices for DoD/Military applications
