Description
Peak Nano is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to design and build out system-level assembly capabilities for our optical product lines. You will be at the heart of Peak’s efforts to scale our optical business from component production to vertically integrated systems manufacturing at high volume. You will work with our Engineering, Design, Test, and Operations teams to create a world-class manufacturing capability. You will own all aspects of assembly from sub-components to packed out finished goods and everything in between. You will identify and implement test and quality checks, drive efficiency improvements to reduce cost and improve cycle time, ensure robust track-and-trace capability, collect and report on yield, identify and implement an SFIS (Shop Floor Information System), and generally provide leadership a birds-eye view of systems manufacturing by leveraging reporting solutions that you’ve brought to bear.
Required Qualifications

BS degree in Mechanical/Optical/Industrial/Systems Engineering or related field

5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience

Experience working on multiple hardware production runs

US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications

MS degree in Mechanical/Optical/Industrial/Systems Engineering or related field

Ability to code in Python or related scripts

Deep understanding of how to assemble and mass produce world-class optical products
