The Senior Vice President of Product Engineering for Optics is a pivotal leadership role responsible for building and leading a high-performance team to drive the engineering, development, innovation and optimization of cutting-edge optical systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer requirements, and market demands.

Build & Lead the Product Engineering team

Own & Drive Product Engineering capability within new product introduction process

Financial and Resource Management
Required Qualifications
-
Master’s degree in Engineering, Optics, Physics, or related field

15+ years of experience in product engineering, with a focus on optical systems and assemblies or related technologies

8+ years working in product development, having launched 5+ hardware products into the market
-
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels

Proven track record in hiring and developing great teams

US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
-
PhD in Engineering, Optics, Physics, or related field

In-depth knowledge of optical systems, design methodologies, engineering analysis, manufacturing processes, and relevant software tools

Experience with Fire Control and Night Vision Systems

Strong business acumen, with the ability to align technical strategies with commercial objectives and market opportunities
