Description

Peak Nano is in need of an experienced Materials Program Manager well versed in the following disciplines:

Inventory & Purchase Order (PO) Management
  • Monitor and manage open purchase orders (POs) to ensure on-time delivery and prevent shortages

  • Optimize inventory levels to minimize stockouts while avoiding excess inventory

  • Oversee warehouse stock levels, ensuring alignment with production forecasts

Generate and present materials-related reports to key stakeholders, including:
  • Warehouse inventory stock levels

  • Spend and scrap projections

  • Open PO amounts and supplier performance

  • Ordering requirements based on updated forecasts

  • Data-driven insights to support supply chain and production planning decisions

Continuous Improvement & Inventory Accuracy
  • Lead initiatives to create and improve inventory reporting accuracy and timeliness

  • Conduct inventory audits and implement corrective actions for discrepancies

  • Enhance material return processes to improve traceability and cost recovery

  • Track BOM (Bill of Materials) configuration changes to ensure production alignment

Inbound Material Coordination & Logistics Optimization
  • Ensure timely arrival of all inbound materials by coordinating with suppliers

  • Monitor supplier shipments, track lead times, and resolve customs clearance or logistics issues

  • Identify and drive lead time improvement initiatives, including safety stock strategies

  • Optimize logistics solutions to balance cost, speed, and reliability

Cross-Functional Collaboration & BOM Management
  • Align BOM configuration changes with cross-functional teams based on customer requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in materials management, supply chain, procurement, inventory control, or logistics

  • Experience in managing POs, supplier coordination, and inventory planning

  • Prior experience using ERP/MRP systems

  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

  • Strong knowledge of Excel

  • US Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field

  • Familiarity with global logistics and custom clearance

  • Experience with ITAR compliance and DoD supply chain

  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment
