Director of Sales
Description
Peak Nano is seeking a Director of Sales for our dielectric films to spearhead revenue growth within the capacitor and OEM markets (Power Grid, EV/Charging, Defense, and Fusion Energy). This leadership role requires a US citizen with over 10 years of proven revenue and management experience. The Director will be responsible for building and mentoring a professional revenue team while coordinating closely with technical field engineers to navigate the OEM sales lifecycle—from initial use case identification and film evaluation to production rollout. You will drive a dual-track strategy: a "Cap Design Win Push" to replace legacy materials like BOPP-C, PET, and PEN with Peak Nano’s advanced films, and a "Vertical Market Pull" to create specific applications for leaders in the Power Grid, EV/Charging, Defense, and Fusion Energy sectors. The successful candidate will partner with the CRO and leadership to build a disciplined, strategic program to secure active OEM revenue streams across our target sectors. You will manage high-level relationships with customers, including industry giants such as Tesla, TDK, Siemens, Eaton, and ABB, as well as government agencies (DoE, DOD) and national research laboratories. This position requires up to 40% domestic and international travel to eliminate barriers to deal velocity and ensure Peak Nano is positioned as a superior alternative or critical second source for global capacitor manufacturers.
Required Qualifications

US Citizenship

BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science

10+ years of proven experience selling capacitor films or other component-level products into the OEM sales process

Previous sales experience in the Capacitor, Power Grid, EV/Charging, Defense, or Fusion Energy markets

Fabrication experience and familiarity with hand tools
Preferred Qualifications

MS Degree in Engineering or Business Admin

Demonstrated success in managing both sales teams and technical/field engineering teams

Experience recruiting, mentoring, and leading an effective sales team focused on exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction
